Hanoi to Sapa via Northwest Vietnam Motorbike Tour: 5–7 days
Northwest Vietnam offers fantastic roads mixed with mountain passes and hill-tribe villages. Mai Chau, up the middle road to Sapa and over the highest pass in Indochina.
Our first stop is a home-stay in the Pu Luong nature reserve where we can experience rural Vietnam before heading across the black river to Pu Yen and Mu Can Chai. We continue north and stop overnight in the high mountain town of Sin Ho and along winding roads through the mountains to Sapa and catch the overnight train in Lao Cai.
Destinations: Hanoi – Pu Luong – Mai Chau – Phu Yen – Mu Cang Chai – Sin Ho – Sapa – Lao Cai
Our routes are flexible depending on the riders experience from smooth paved roads to off road and dirt tracks.
This 5 to 7 day tour program takes us up the high mountain roads to the pine forest and terraced fields of Mu Can Chai then visit the small towns of Sin Ho and Sapa.
On tour, the accommodation is a mix of village Home-stay where we eat with our host, and sleep in houses on stilts, hotel with AC, WIFI and hot showers.
Meals on tours take the best of local cuisine and picnics in the hills, we take of coffee in the morning to afternoon refreshments and great local dinners.
