Northern Vietnam Border Motorbike Tour, Join us on an adventure through the mountains of Northern Vietnam, departing Hanoi we travel to Ba Be Lake National Park before an overnight a hill-tribe village, after departing Ba Be National Park we head up to the rough mountains of Ha Giang and the colorful people that inhabit this unique landscape.

Ride through stone forests and hill-tribe villages on our way to the road that hugs the cliff at the Ma Phi Lieng Pass. Great views into China. Next, we visit a historical landmark of the H’mong Kings palace built in the 1840s from the proceeds of Opium cultivation.

Destinations: Hanoi –That Khe – Quang Uyen – Cao Bang – Ban Gioc – Ba Be – Dong Van – Ha Giang – Hoang Su Phi – Luc Yen – Sapa – Lao Cai – Hanoi

Our routes are flexible depending on the riders experience from smooth paved roads to off road and dirt tracks.

There is a lot to discover on the road, from waterfalls, national parks and hill-tribes and clothes to the market and daily life. We pass through Cao Bang and Ha Giang Provinces and areas that are populated by Tay, Nung, Mong, and Dao people, you will see the colour mixing of people of minority groups in full colour at weekly markets on our Northeast Vietnam motorbike tour.

On tour, the accommodation is a mix of village Home-stay where we eat with our host and sleep in houses on stilts, hotel with AC, WIFI and hot showers.

Meals on tours take the best of local cuisine and picnics in the hills, we take coffee in the morning to afternoon refreshments and great local dinners.
